The time of year & season that you get married in has a huge effect on what flowers are available. The tip is to look what seasonal flowers will be at their best when you are getting married & plan your arrangements round them. Below are some ideas to help Lancashire Brides with their flower arrangements according to each season.
Spring
With the nights getting slightly longer but still a while before spring now is the time to plan your spring wedding flowers & bouquets ♥
Sunflowers – beautiful bright flower – gives a ray of sunshine in your bouquet ♥
For a romantic vintage wedding you may want to try roses or gerberas or something like hydrangeas for that real vintage pretty look, depending on your style of wedding ♥
Beautiful spring bouquet ideas such as roses, daffodils, tulips are amazing in colour and look beautiful combined with your wedding dress ♥
Bridesmaids bouquets with Polar Star roses, hydrangea, dusty miller and leucadendron, spring bouquets, pastels pinks, greens, creams ♥
Beautiful pastel bouquets look stylishly elegant in spring especially with a white or ivory gown ♥ Here are some ideas I came across as well as images from weddings I have taken too ♥
If you aren’t getting married this year & like gardening you could try growing some of these flowers yourself & see what they look like together, I love growing flowers for use in my photography & it gives a personal element to your bouquet ♥
Hope that gives you a few ideas for creating your own flowers for a spring wedding ♥
I will be featuring summer flower ideas in a couple of weeks so keep coming back ♥
Would love to receive your comments ♥
