One of the leading wedding trends for 2012 is pastels. This trend can be incorporated into your wedding very easily from simple pastel wedding cupcakes to full on pastel bokeh theme. As a photographer & creative person, I love seeing this trend as its amongst my favourite to photograph. Looking ahead through this year, trend pastels like pink & lilac are certainly coming through.
How to create your pastel wedding ♥
Pick your colour theme ♥
To do this create a mood inspired inspiration board of all of your ideas and colours, soon you will find a theme coming through & the process of creativity will inspire you to achieve the dream pastel wedding even on a budget.
Remember wedding trends should also reflect your own personal style & everything you like to enable you to be totally happy with the way your day looks & after all the way that you will remember it for years to come. A great way to make a board is to use pinterest, here is my wedding ideas board to get you started http://pinterest.com/prestonchick55/wedding-photography-i-like/
Pick your creative theme ♥
Pick a theme running throughout your wedding to give a cohesive look & feel. For pastels this could be something like light eg candles, fairy lights, pretty pastel flowers or romance inspired by vintage.

Choose the best wedding photographer you can find for your budget ♥
For a pastel inspired theme, choosing a fine art photographer will be crucial to creating the look that you want to achieve with your wedding. Fine art wedding photography is essentially art based & a fine art photographer will be able to work with your lovely inspiration & provide you with beautiful creative images that will reflect all the hard work that you have put in creating your theme. Examples of this way of working are http://www.josevillaphoto.com/ & http://www.jessicaclaire.net/ Also some local photographers in Lancashire work in this way, http://www.secretgardenphotography.co.uk & also some lovely peeps like Alex Davies http://www.alexdphotography.co.uk/ & Emma Bilsborough http://www.emmabphotography.com/
